Codabar Barcode
Codabar is an older but still used numeric barcode with start/stop characters (A-D). It was developed for retail but now primarily serves specialized applications like libraries, blood banks, and FedEx airbills due to its simple printing requirements.

Technical Specifications

Some variants (NW-7, Monarch) add specific start/stop requirements.
